Bringing your own drinking water?!

Question:

Bringing your own drinking water?

So, I was thinking about this...everywhere you go even state to state has there own water type, right? So instead of buying expensive bottled water every time, why not bring your own tap water (if you drink it) along with you in a bottle? This is of course if you able to do so, prob. easier traveling by car. What do you all think? Do you ever get tummy troubles by drinking local water when you travel state to state?

Answers:

it's a great idea, depending how far you have to go. like if it's only going to be 5 or 6 hours and the water's iced, that's fine.. but if it's going to be wicked long and you need to bring a large swimming pool with water, probably easier just to buy a pack of water every few states or when you run out.
