Why is there caffeine in some soft drinks? Does caffeine attribute any taste to the soda?!

Question:

Answers:

Cola companies add caffeine to their products because (they say) it improves the taste.

This study http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/200...

says only 8% can tell the difference between caffeinated and decaf colas.

Personally, I drink Diet Caffeine Free Pepsi. It tastes sweeter than Diet Pepsi and just as good as the regular stuff.
