Problem falling asleep after drinking green tea?!

Question:

Problem falling asleep after drinking green tea?

How can i fall asleep after drinking green tea at supper time

Answers:

Green tea does NOT have more caffeine that coffee, contrary to how some have responded to this question. An 8 oz. cup of coffee has about 120 mg of caffeine, compared to 30 mg for Green tea. Nevertheless, 30 mg is enough to cause sleeplessness in the evenings. I suggest you eat more carbohydrates in the evening along with the tea (yes - add honey, eat meals that include bread, pasta, potato, etc.), and you will find yourself falling asleep as well as enjoying the benefits of green tea!

Protein-rich food tends to keep you awake as well. And don't forget to de-stress and relax before going to bed. Stress, worry, and anxiety can keep you awake much longer than caffeine!

Good luck!!
