What is the difference between a slushie and a smoothie?!

Question:

What is the difference between a slushie and a smoothie?

Answers:

A smoothie is a blend with usually yogurt, fruits, and juices. The ice is blended so its in small flakes, almost like its not there. It has a almost smooth thick milk-like texture. A slushie is more ice based, and is a blend of flavored syrup (whatever the fruit flavor it is), ice, and water.

Smoothie: Yogurt, fruit, fruit juice, ice
Slushie: Ice, flavored syrup, water
