Non dairy milk for tea drinkers?!

Question:

Non dairy milk for tea drinkers?

I'm going dairy free for awhile in order to try and get to the bottom of some sinus problems. I take a lot of milk in my tea (semi skimmed) and I don't like my tea to be too watery. Have you any suggestions for a non dairy milk that doesnt have a bad taste or smell, to substitute for cows milk. I love my tea!

Answers:

If you are in the UK, pop into Holland and Barrett as they sell a wide selection of dairy free milks including soya, almond and rice. Other health food shops also do a variety. What you would enjoy may be different from other people. I suggest you just try one or two and see what you like.

They also come in longlife and refrigerated varieties so try the shelf and the fridge in any shop you visit. Most supermarkets sell some of these but may not have the same sort of range as a health food shop.

If you are going dairy free, remember to substitute other dairy products such as cheese, yoghurt and cream for non-dairy varieties as well.
