How does starbucks make such great coffee?

I love their coffee...they have some really good flavors for people who don't just want the plain old cup of coffee. I think it's so good because they have so many different options you can choose from. You can get it anyway you want it, and the employees are always super nice. I also don't find it addictive at all...I maybe have one once or twice a month...wouldn't say it's highly addictive. Just a little expensive...but at once or twice a month it's a nice treat.
