Coffee Shop or Teahouse?!

Question:

Coffee Shop or Teahouse?

Would you rather relax in a coffee shop or in a Chinese style teahouse? (both having free wifi)

I'm thinking of opening either one - but not sure which. I presently live in China and think a teahouse would be nice (in the USA) but don't know if others will like it.

Answers:

A teahouse will be very welcoming. I drink plenty of loose teas, and that would be a relaxing environment. However, many people prefer coffee and you might find that from a business perspective, the coffee house might do better. For example, if you look around America, you will see Starbucks coffee shops everywhere. In my area, there were 2 other rivaling coffee shops across the street from Starbucks, but they went out of business because everybody seems to like SB. However, your teahouse might be a welcome alternative to the coffee shops. Good luck.
