Scared...help?
I was just drinking a bottled tea, and it tasted rotten. It doesn't normally taste that way, but it was very sour, hot, and left a bad aftertase in my mouth. Could there be poison?

Probably not poisoned, but it might have gone bad.
Keep the bottle and the cap just on the off-chance you DO become ill. It will help the company to be able to track down the rest of that batch so stores can get it off the shelf faster and prevent other illnesses.
