Why is it bad to refill arrowhead water bottles?
i think it is their way of making more money by you buying more bottles?
is it because people can get sick from contaminents
Answers:
Their bottles are made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which experts say makes them safe for reuse as long as they are in good condition (no cracks) and properly cleaned before refilling.
Whether you want to buy Arrowhead in the first place, however, is a matter of opinion.
The warning is there because Nestle is afraid of lawsuits. They *ought* to be scared of lawsuits, because they might end up with someone like me on the jury. I'd be inclined to think that Nestle is not as careful about hygiene as they should be.
After all, Nestle PureLife originally was spring water, but they changed tp a manufactured water with NO warning to consumers, and many - including me - were fooled into buying the less desirable product. If they are careless about labeling their product, they quite likely are careless about handling their product.
