Drinking fountian water vs my home water?

have you ever expereinced that awful taste in drinking fountian water, well i have. i can taste it even more if i let it settle in a bottle of water for a day. what is that bad taste, and is it bad for our system? its at my gym, so if it is bad, what the hell is it doing there.


Answers:

there's nothing wrong with tap water. stop drinking bottled water, it's bad for the environment (4.5 million water bottles are thrown out every hour) and perpetuates the sterotype that there's something wrong with tap water. especially if it's filtered through a water fountain. you're fine.
