Question:

A question about the starbucks logo on thier drinks and coffee?

My husband and I love starbucks but I looked at my cup and the logo had a girl with long hair with a crown and I think a star?
Is thier any symbolism to thier logo? They have this printed on thier drink cups and coffee cups. Do you know what this means?

33 seconds in he begins to explains he's a christian and how he started to do research and kept finding all these symbols--

just listen it's only 8 minutes long. Its a Mermaid. There is no symbolism except that that goes along with mermaids. They have always had this emblem. Go to http://brandautopsy.typepad.com/brandaut...
It tells the whole story with pictures. The original starbucks logo was a mermaid with a double, spreaded "tail", real-looking breasts and a crown. No explanation why a mermaid! The logo has evolved over time to make the logo more child-friendly. The breasts were removed and the tail formed into one tail, and then no tail at all. i wanna know too why they picked it as their brand image. anybody, please educating me!
