ive always been wondering this question and ive just resently been dying too know so please tell me if u know the anwser.

Answers: coffee beans aren't the common bean that you eat with dinner. a bean is simply a seed from the legume family. there are all sorts of beans; that doesn't necessarily make them vegetables.
coffee does not have the nutritional value that black or kidney beans do. If paper is made from wood, does that make it a tree? well yes. idk...but if coffee can be considered a veggie cuz it comes from beans than i think chocolate should be able too. i think is from the inside of a seed. i know they call the fruit a cherry. they have to crack open the cherry to get to the coffee bean. look it up. is something like that.
