Is there a coffee that tastes like tea?!

Question:

Is there a coffee that tastes like tea?

I was drinking coffee out of a cup and after I was done I rinsed it out and put tea in it. It smelled like tea, so I asked myself if there was any coffee that tastes like tea??

Answers: trust me on this, but there is no coffee that tastes like tea. However, there are teas that taste like coffee. These teas are called Chai teas, and although they have a sweet pungent flavor, they taste a bit like coffee in my opinion.

if you find a coffee that tastes like tea, I want to know so I can definitely find out. wow,,,u have WAY to much time on your hands to think of that....Just drink Tea if that is what you want..why would you want to find a coffee that taste liek tea if you really just want tea??!!! wtf? no. some teas and coffees will share some nuances or subtleties, if grown in similar conditions, in fact this goes for chocolates as well. but coffee wont taste like tea. thats like grapes tasting like mangos, or mayo tasting like mustard. ive been a professional barista for 5 years now and ive never encountered such a phenomenon. Well, no. There is really light roasted coffee that if brewed weak enough can taste like tea (I used to tease my grandma that was how she brewed her coffee). I pasted the link below of an example of a lightly roasted coffee you "could" use for such bizarre behavior.

I would agree with the barista that posted, however. There are so many flavors in coffee that you wouldn't want to weaken by flooding it with water.

I think, drink one or the other, or face teasing like my dear ol' grandma. not that i know of...
tea's tea and coffee's coffee lol
