Does drinking soda count as the 8 glass of water everyday?!

Question:

Does drinking soda count as the 8 glass of water everyday?

Answers: No...........soda has chemicals that take away your water.....so if you drink soda...you will have to drink extra/more water No it doesn't HA HA I wish it did, lol. But no No. It just the opposite soda is bad for you sugar and caffeine. Nope. Water is used to hydrate your body, whereas the caffeine and sugar in the soda will dehydrate you. No it wouldn't as Soda has sugar in it.But your 8 glasses can be tea, coffee, mineral water, beer, etc. So long as you try and drink as much as you can, but don't overdrink, it's bad for you. no lol water is totally different then soda bro lol
i wish it was 8 glasses of soda instead of water lol Ahhh, nope.

Anything with caffiene doesn't count as any water.

Any other non-caffiene drinks (such as lemonade, green tea, etc.) counts as half a serving of water. NO NO, you can drink decaf tea or decaf coffee, and count that, but other than that, you have to drink the water.......soda, is sugar water......and is very bad for you........and don't smoke or drink much, and stay out of the sun.....bye NO not at all total opposite. ^_^ DJ Why do people assume soda has sugar and caffeine? It doesn't have to. Soda does have water in it, so it counts. Because I am allergic to water (weird, huh?), I asked the very same question to a few physicians and to three dietitians.
This is their answer, because I wanted to be sure I was safe:
-I have the choice of either:
Mineral water (very expensive for every day. I mean "mineral" and NOT spring or filtered water)
-or-
Soda... (the healthiest you could find. Meaning without caffeine, calories and sugars... )

So, yes, soda counts as the 8 glasses of water everyday.

Now, if you're NOT allergic to water as I am, I very much recommend plain, delicious, cool W-A-T-E-R.
-(how much I wish I could drink it every time I wanted it..! Take advantage of your best choice: Water.)- Nooo! It has a lot of sugar and calories! Yes it does, but for every glass of soda you drink you must drink two of water (if you're on a diet). nope No, since the recommendation is 8 glasses of WATER not soda.
Plus sodas are usually diuretic so 8 glasses of (say) coke is probably something like -3 glasses of water.

You get water from food and other liquids but you're supposed to get some pure water. No it doesn't coke has more calories while water has none ABSO FREAKING LUTELY!

if ya wannna be diabetic and have to stick yourself with insulin all day! Too much sugars and carbs! No. absolutely not! said by doctor no
