Any of you remember drinking tab and freska as a child?!

Question:

Any of you remember drinking tab and freska as a child?

You do not see it ever in pop machines

Answers: They are both coke products. Funny thing is that they do not sell them in cases. You can only find them in twelve packs. I guess your right, you do not find freska or tab in pop machines. A convience store down the street once in a while will see fresca in a 20 oz bottle. I see fresca has added some flavors. I have not tried them. I stick to the regular fresca. Tab is also very good. But when coke products are on sale, tab or fresca is never on sale. We drank a lot of that when I was a kid. I see tab now has an energy drink also. The cans are much smaller and skinnier. I have not tried it though. I hated both of them. They are making a comeback.I was on a plane this week and Fresca was being served. Yes, and I remember when my parents would take us to the beach and on camping trips we would drink Shasta. I still drink Freska, it is pretty good! Hello:

I remember drinking those as a child, they were pretty good! I still see Fresca all the time. It's a Coca Cola product. fresca is still sold in some stores. I've seen both on the east coast, where we call it soda. Both have gone thru branding changes, for example fresca comes in many different flavors now and tab has been repurposed as a competitor to red bull (at least that is what the packaging looks like). I believe they are both coke products, if you really want some maybe there is info for local distributors at the corporate websites I remember drinking Fresca. I remember not even wanting to try Tab because it was a diet drink, and I was a skinny kid so I didn't see the point. As a small kid in the--eek--40's we had real Coke, real Pepsi, real Dr Pepper (yuck-I thought was made of pepper) and Royal Crown sodas. Tab was a Diet Coke wannabe. It was all we had back then, that and Fresca, which was a diet 7-Up type drink.

Diet pop has advanced a lot, since those days. I recall them!! Tab was a cola and Freska a lemmon/lime drink. I can not recall the last time I have seen either one! Yep, I remember them both.

I even remember when Tab Clear was released in the very early '90s, but it didn't stay around very long. Yes, I remember opening cans of soda with a can opener and drinking Shasta and Fresca is the correct spelling lol Never liked either. I still do not drink calorie free soda's as I hate the after taste. I remember both - I loved tab. I saw it at a store one day though... maybe it's making a comeback or the pop was really old...
