How much flavor can you put in a "water" before it's not a "water"?!

Question:

How much flavor can you put in a "water" before it's not a "water"?

I been buying a lot of flavored water lately and I was wondering how much stuff can you put in water before it loses it's value as water. I heard that water is good for you for it's purity. is that true.

Answers: It's always healthy to drink plenty of water, and something in it certainly doesn't reduce its quality as long as that "something" is equally safe and wholesome. But what a neat question! These days some places are making a killing selling fancy flavored waters. I read recently about a "Water Bar" where they charge you a buck a glass or something ridiculous. I guess there are enough stupid people around for places like that to do thriving business. I'd be ashamed for anyone to know I fell for anything like that.

Loooong before anybody had ever begun thinking of bottling and selling "flavored water" I was making mine at home by just filling up a water jug from the tap, and adding a cup of juice. It was just enough to be able to taste it, and in summer with a few ice cubes I find it very refreshing. Health effects from hydration. I would say that just one ingredient would change water.

Yes, water is good for us by itself. Water is good pure- But I would say adding anything besides one ingredient such as- lemon would change the water, adding sugar or stuff would make it "flavored" adding fresh lemon or lime would be fine and still remain water tho.
