Does milk come from diff cows?!

Question:

Does milk come from diff cows?

i been wondering about this for awhile does 1%milk come from the same cow that the 2% milk comes from same with fatfree and the rest of them

Answers: yes, they get fat free from the skinny cows, whole milk from the really fat ones, and 2% from the ones who are perfect. Yes. The removal of the fat happens after the milk comes from the cows. Yes, they come from the same cows. All milk that cows give is originally whole milk, it is later changed to have less fat and become 1% and 2% milk. Although the total fat content of milk can vary from breed to breed and according to time of year, type of feed and health, all cow's milk is much more than 1 or 2 percent and there is no such thing as a fat free dairy cow.
You must have lived in the city all your life. Cows are milked, the milk is mixed together, homogenized and pasteurized, and at some point in the process the milk fat content is tweaked (I don't know how, I'm not a dairy farmer.)

This reminds me of when I was little and I asked my dad if chocolate milk came from brown cows and white milk came from white cows. He told me yes, then I asked him where strawberry milk came from. He said from pink cows. I told him I'd never seen a pink cow. And his response was... well, pink cows are very rare and expensive, so the farmers keep them in the barn so nobody tries to steal them.

And people wonder why I am the way I am.

Edit: Theresa, LOL!!! all milk comes from the same cows they just process it differently milk DOES come from different cows. on their butts is branded 1%, 2%, skim, and whole. you can only get whole milk from a cow with "whole" branded on it, or it curdles when you stick in in a 1% box, which is how you get cottage cheese, but that goes into another dairy direction you dont need. duh.....are you serious? All milk comes out as whole milk, full of cream. The milk producers alter it by removing a percentage of the cream. 2% milk has 2% of the cream left in it. All cows produce milk after they calf. Different cows give different amounts of milk. Boy cows (bulls) don't like you to milk them............ Theresa....you're a scream. I take it cream comes from the fattest of the fat cows. : -D whole milk is the beginning ,then it is processed, to get the fat out.

That's what butter is made of . The answer to your question would definitely be yes. Not diff cows, milf cows.
