Root beer question?!

Question:

Root beer question?

One of my favorite soft drinks is root beer. I've noticed over the years that some of them say "fountain style" and others say "keg style". What's the difference?

Answers: root beer was created as a replacement to beer during Prohibition. Some is Keg style just like Beer, and the other is a fountain style, from the old soda fountain days, when the syrup was added to the soda water separately. The Keg version is usually smoother than the fountain version, which tends to have a bite to it.

The Best ... Henry Weinhard's ... if you like a smooth taste!!! nothing, really. it's just a marketing thing...the taste of root beer depends on the recipe each individual root beer maker follows... so just choose brands according to your taste preference whether it came from a keg or a fountain idk but that my favorite 2 i think keg meanin in the big glass cup idk though It's basically just a marketing thing. Heck, I know some people think its cool drinking the "Keg Style" because it sounds like a beer!

But besides that, marketing is all over it on this one.
"Here since 1919" or
"Best tasting root beer since 1950!"

Stupid stuff like that. The Keg+Fountain just add to it.
