How much less damage to the environment would there be if Britons stopped brewing up?!

Question:

How much less damage to the environment would there be if Britons stopped brewing up?

Answers: That's interesting! I drink loads of tea; and I'm sure my kettle adds considerably to my carbon footprint.

As a campaign, though, I think you're on to a loser, at least in the short term. We, the offenders, can point a big fat finger at the USA's coffee consumption, and anything else that we prefer cooked before we consume it (for instance, I much prefer a plate of steamed carrots to raw carrot sticks). It is (that is, we are) a worldwide problem. I could assuage my guilt by moving to a country that harneses geothermal energy for consumption, I suppose.

At least I buy Fair Trade. Not as much as if you stopped talking verbal diarrhoea perish the thought I only have one cup of tea per day first thing in the morning so would you excuse me from this one please? I drink water all day! I am sure statistically there would be more damage. let me explain - No tea = more stress, more domestic violence leading to murder - more police involved - more use of paper to write police report, therefore more trees cut down to supply paper. In turn more forests cut down leading to more damage to ozone layers etc - SIMPLE !! Have a nice day, I'm off to put the kettle on. How about if you stop breathing instead? lol! It is that kind of talk that could lead to a severe horse whipping, being placed in the stocks and pelted with dog poo, the very thought of it, you are not English are you? if you are, then you should be debagged and publicly thrashed. of course, its not America with there millions of gas guzzling SUVs its British kettles
