sure i'll try to explain it. I know from my fish hobby experience that water for fish to live has to be aerated. I'm into this tea hobby and would like to know if water ever loses it's "aeration", and if that affects the taste. I think aerated water would taste better than flat or non-aerated water. Just wondering how to keep water aerated. hth

Fish need aeration in the water because that's their oxygen intake.

If you're using water to make tea, and you're a purist, then perhaps bottled non-aerated spring water would bring out the true flavour of the tea the best. just keep it cool....too much heat will certainly alter the taste Liquid water is always flat. This is due to the inability of water to resist a shear stress.

I learned this in fluid dynamics course 15 years ago. As far as i know, water still has the same properties now as it did then.
