How do I make Hibiscus tea?!

Question:

How do I make Hibiscus tea?

Is it best to make it from loose or from tea bags?

Answers: It is best to make hibiscus tea from freshly dried flowers sold in herbal or health shops for its antioxidant properties rather than in teabag form. To prepare the tea, simply steep a handful of flowers in a cup of very hot water for 5 minutes before drinking. I use loose flowers...the flower heads can be purchased at the store...and I do not boil it I let it sit in the sun and steep... it is best to make these herbal teas with boiling water. the steep time should be to taste, but generally 6 minutes. You will not get a bitter taste if it's oversteeped, just a stronger one. Ideally, you want whole flowers, but the bags aren't a bad choice.
