i go to a restaurent and waiter ask me what would you like to drink and i say pepsi and he says oh we don't have pepsi, how about a coke?
and they both taste the same.

Pepsi sucks Coke tastes better! Pepsi is too sweet and syrupy tasting. Pepsi unless it's diet then diet Coke. I don't think they taste the same nooo... coke is so much better. Coke tastes better , it's not so sweet they don't taste the same to me either...I prefer pepsi over coke anyways becuase pepsi has a more refrehing taste and whenver coke gets flat it tastes really nasty. They do not taste the same at all. coke is much better. pepsi is gross. I think they taste different.
But a lot of places do that, it's because of how the company sponsors the location - for instance if you have a soda fountain, and you get syrup from Coke (Coke, Sprite, Powerade, Minute Maid, Dasani etc.) Coke will constantly supply, and possibly even pay the location to keep Coke in the soda fountains (McDonalds) Just different companies. But pepsi tends to have a sweeetr taste adn I find it tastes like it is rotting my teeth right then and there. Coke is better in my opinion. There are some people who love Pepsi, but will never ever drink Coke, vice versa.
Not a whole lot of difference, but there is a lot of competition. Coke has a stronger, more tart flavour than Pepsi. Pepsi is sweeter and is usually less carbonated. 1. skinny people like coke fat people like pepsi

Coke seems more acidy...in fact it can be used as a way to clean your battery terminals in your car. No lie! Think about that the next time you are asked to buy Coke instead of Pepsi! coke seems sweeter, neither one is good for you. go with water, or green tea. i like Pepsi .... and its better then coke for me i just love the taste...i think its individual choice. Oh no no not the same at all! Pepsi is far superior due to it's sweetness and it's lack of Coke's NASTY aftertaste!! Most people can taste a difference....I prefer coke. If I REALLY want a soda and they don't have coke, I'll take the pepsi b/c even though i like coke better, pepsi will do in a pinch. I usually order sweet tea at most restaraunts....the only time i have the pepsi/coke problem is with fast food. coke has SO much caffeine..

And Pepsi's commercial's are so offensive to Coke.And Coke cans are prettier. If you seldom drink cola and when you do you only get fountain drinks it's easy to miss the differences. The difference is much more pronounced in canned or bottled colas. Pepsi tends to have a sweeter but tangy citrus taste with it's cola where Coke has a more syrupy possibly vanilla taste with it's cola (in my opinion) Other colas are stronger or weaker. It's what you are used to, I seldom drink beer but beer drinkers will tell you there's a big difference in brands, but they taste alike to me. NO THEY DONT COKE IS SO MUCH BETTER PEPSI IS GROSS COKE ROCKS I like Coke the best and they don't taste the same to me. Pepsi is sweeter than Coke.
