Answers: I am a bar tender and I gotta say .... properly made you may have a hard time telling .....with all the different booze involved most places tend to make them quite strong ...its hard not to....but done right the combination itself is quite intoxicating without containing a large volume of alcohol. The premixed stuff is a great example of this. :) yes never because it really doesn't taste like ice tea. It tastes like a bunch of booze mixed with coke. Nope never did, always thought it was much tastier than reg ice tea. Unless you are referring to a cup of iced Lipton Tea served on Long Island, it would be pretty difficult to miss the fact that it has alcohol no matter what anyone tells you. I've never drank a Long Island. It seems like a waste of booze. No, You get that bite of tequilla at the end of it. You couldn't mistake it for real ice tea unless you were so drunk you weren't tasting anything anymore anyways. No.
Have to be dumb to fall for that. no you only get long island tea in a bar and it has 7 differed
boozes in it . It is totally differed than reg. ice tea. Around here a good long island tea, you can not taste the difference between that and regular lemon ice tea. You buy it pre mixed at the liquor store. Add coke and lemon juice.

Ond hot day my mom was over and we were on the deck. I asked her if she wanted a long island ice tea.She said yes. She did not know they had liquor in them. It was hot and humid so she gulped it down and said dam that was good. Get me one more. By the third one her face was read. She was starting to act funny. I really thought she knew there was booze in them. Then my brother stopped over. And asked why mom was acting so funny and I go she keeps drinking long island teas. My mom said these are so good show me the brand. So my brother bought out the bottle. my mom them figured out it was full of booze. She was on her way to intoxication.lol
