Having 1 can of soda for a week?!

Question:

Having 1 can of soda for a week?

What would happen to my body if I drank 1 bottle of soda every day for a week?

In case you're wondering, it'll be A&W Root Beer in a Root Beer Float.

Root Beer Floats are yummy :D If you don't make any other changes in your diet / exercise routine, you will likely gain weight. You also will need to pay attention to your teeth since the bacteria that cause cavities will love the sugar you will be providing.

I personally drink Pepsi instead of water and have done so for several years with no ill effect. However, I also have a really good immune system and so, have less to worry about regarding cavities. And, I'm reasonably active, so my weight is stable. do it and get back with me Depending on your metabolism, you may gain weight, however if you only drink one bottle of soda a day and do you regular routine of working out you should be fine. On top of that, you may become addicted to the soda due to the High Fructose Corn Syrup, and it may turn from 1 bottle a day to more, or it willbe difficult just to have one. for just one week, not much. if you have a fast metabolism or are active already, your body will burn right through a can of soda. your metabolism will slowly decrease over time, but not enough for there to be a weight change within a week. this is all assuming that you substutute 1 can of soda for a glass of water, and the rest of your lifestyle stays constant. frankly, nothing will really happen to you in a weeks time, though you might get a caffiene or sugar high. any change as small as that will be easily reversable if you don't let a soda a day become a habit. i myself gave up soda a year and a half ago, and i hardly miss it. i also gave up icecream as a resolution this year. i have to say though, i really do miss the rootbeer floats!!! why exactly are you wanting to have a root beer float for a week anyway???

*EDIT*
LOL! just for the fun of having a float a day? well, i guess i can see the reasoning behind that.
