Which is best sport drink: Gatorade or Powerade?
I love both sport drinks
Answers: I believe that Gatorade is. I run a lunch truck and it is by far the most popular even though is it more expensive in general. Gatorade was invented first, at the University of Florida (hence the name - GO GATORS). Powerade just seems to be a copy cat. Poweraid....less calories...less sodium....less artificial ingredients, especially any of the clear poweraids. I like Gatorade more. Both are great though when you play sports. powerade..the red flavor i like powerade better Gatorade...Rain in watermelon ice Gatorade. I think it tastes more natural than Powerade. And not to mention, Gatorade has a lot more variety of flavors whereas Powerade probably only has around 8 flavors. IMHO, Powerade tasted like a bit like juice.
I like the fact that Gatorade actually has their own different series of names for their drinks, like 'Fierce', 'Xtremo', 'XFactor'.
My favorite so far is 'Xtremo'. They have a lot of tropical flavors which is awesome to drink during summer time.
With Powerade, I don't have a favorite flavor lol.
