Is it difficult being a non-drinker everywhere, or just because I live in wisconsin?!

Question:

Is it difficult being a non-drinker everywhere, or just because I live in wisconsin?

i should move to utah...

Answers: It's difficult in LA, too. When I was a non-drinker, I'd just order a cranberry juice and tell people it was a vodka-cran. You have to have a beverage in your hand! Utah has it's share of drunks. You can buy alcohol all over in Salt Lake City. I'm from Wisconsin too, and I'm a non-drinker. You just need to adjust your circle and not go to places where drinking is the focal point. Why is it difficult being a non-drinker?
Just choose to have soft drinks whenever you're out...it's pretty simple really. Drinking is everywhere.. It is going to be difficult anywhere you go and the pressure to drink will always be around you.. Just say no.. That should not be too hard to do..

As for Utah.. they do drink the only difference it they control how much can be drunk in a restaurant by one person.. They really monitor the drinks of a person.. however that is taking away personal freedom.. so do you really want to live in a state that may take away your right to choose in various matters..

Sorry if I offended anyone from Utah.. This is waht I saw when I visited.. No and why should it. In matter of fact, you should be very proud of yourself. I am guessing that you are in your 20's and most of your friends are drinkers. When they drink, they probably do not know when to stop, right. I have been out with friends who drink and at times I did not want one so I order a tonic and lime, Shirley Temple, it shouldn't matter to them and if they rib you about this, you might wanna see what a real friend is.
