for now, try holding a rag in your hand while you twist the cap... sometimes that will help.
Answers: every once in a while i will buy a product where the cap is pretty hard to get off. usually its just a dud. im guessing that if you would have bought the 12 pack to the left or the right of the one you got, you would have been fine.

Nope. And i buy them weekly at Walmart. Im guessing you found a defect. Sounds like my luck!

THEY SELL A SMALL RUBBER GRIPPERS THAT WORKS WELL AT NOT ALLOWING IT TO SLIP IN YOUR HAND . MAKING IT EASY TO OPEN EVEN THE TIGHTEST OF BOTTLES
those are kind of hard to get off you have to get a really good grip on the tab thingy

I haven't had that problem with Gatorade. Soda,water bottles, juice bottles....yes I have. Sometimes it happens after I've already opened it and then put the cover back on. DH usually ends up taking skin off his hands before he can get it reopened for me.
