How much vanilla extract to add to a cup of hot milk?!

Question: The bottle says its pure extract if that helps....
I know its new, but it smells more like bourbon to me than vanilla.
Someone told me it was tasty in hot milk, but I have no idea how much to add.....I've never even baked with it.

A small splash will be what you want. That'll do ya.
You can always add more!

It is an alcohol, you can make your own vanilla by soaking a vanilla bean in vodka. As for the vanilla to add to your warm milk a teaspoon would be plenty for flavor.
i usually add only about a teaspoon to my hot milk
start with a few drops, since it is so concentrated, but you have to add to your taste, so we cant give you exact measures...
I normally add about a teaspoon per 8 oz. I love getting a tall glass of milk, adding a splash of vanilla and a couple tablespoons of sugar. vanilla milk.
