CARAMEL FRAPPUCCINO

1/2 cup of whole milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar (I never used quite this much)
1 teaspoon chocolate syrup
2 tablespoons of caramel syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups crushed ice or ice cubes

1. Combine the coffee, milk, sugar, chocolate and caramel syrups, and salt in a blender and mix on medium speed for 15 seconds to dissolve sugar.
2. Add the vanilla extract and ice, then blend on high until smooth and creamy. Stir with a spoon if necessary to help blend.
3. Pour drink into two large 16 oz. glasses and top each with whipped cream and drizzled caramel. ENJOY!!

STARBUCKS CARAMEL FRAPPUCCINO

Make double-strength coffee by measuring 2 tablespoons of ground coffee per cup (serving) in your coffee maker. The clone will be even more authentic if you use Starbucks beans and grind them yourself just before brewing. Here now is an improved version of the recipe that was first posted here on this site.

Coffee -
3/4 cup double-strength coffee, cold
1 cup low-fat milk
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 tablespoons caramel
2 cups ice

1. Make double-strength coffee by brewing with twice the coffee required by your coffee maker. That should be 2 tablespoons of ground coffee per each cup of coffee. Chill before using.
2. To make the drink, combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until ice is crushed and drink is smooth. Pour into two 16-ounce glasses, and top each glass with whipped cream and drizzle additional caramel over the whipped cream. Serve with a straw. (www.topsecretrecipes.com) Makes 2 "grande" drinks.

Starbucks Frappuccino
2 shots (3 oz.) espresso
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups low-fat milk
1 Tbls. pectin OR 1 tsp. pectin + 1 tsp. arrowroot

-Stir sugar into espresso. Cool mixture.
-Stir milk and pectin into espresso mixture until pectin is dissolved.
-Fill a glass with ice and either serve mixture over ice, or pour glass contents into blender and blend for 30-45 seconds.

No espresso? Use coffee that has been run through coffee maker twice.

To make it caramel, you need to add 2 caramel squirts in each individul drink before blending with ice in the blender. get caramel syrup from any supermarket. even sugar-free to make it less fattening.

then top with whipped creme! :-)
