It's probably hard water. You might want to try descaling your iced tea machine (instructions should be in the manual, basically you run vinegar, sometimes diluted with water, through it). You might also want to use distilled water from now on. Activated charcoal filters also filter out some minerals from hard water making tea and coffee appear less cloudy.
I had the problem , to solve the problem I just went back to brewing it the old fashion way on the stove... It is actually quicker than fooling with those automatic things , as with many things in life taking a short cut usually ends up waisting more time and effort.
use boiling hot mineral water (in a kettle)
then put in the fridge.
the mr tea must do something to it or your water isn't clean enough or both.
when you make tea the normal way, is it cloudy? it might have something to do with that machine. I've never used one so I don't know. What kind of tea is it ?
I"m editing my answer somewhat. It could be your tea. I just made some green tea my parents got from Russia. Unfortunately, it too, turned out cloudy and didn't taste very good. So I'm guessing it could be the quality of your tea.
