Why is EVIAN Mineral Water expensive?!
Are drops of melting glaciers put directly in the bottle or something?
Answers: I understand that is a French company and all, I even know the history of it, but why is it so darn expensive.

the evian workforce need paying
and then the trendy name will put the price up
read the label does it say that evian do anything out of the ordinary or has unusual ways of locating the best water
compare it to labels on other mineral water suppliers

Because EVIAN backwards is NAIVE- there's nothing special about the water, and naive people buy it for an expensive price when there's no reason to.
demand and name, and no. In fact, one of their cheaper rivals, Dasani, was just outed for using tap water. Try Fiji water, I actually notice a difference but maybe it's placebo effect
Haha, yeah beats me. I love their facial spray though. But even that costs a fortune that sometimes I would rather settle for tap water.
Evian is gross:( personally I hate the taste.. My favorite is smart water it's made by glaceau..
The bottled water industry is a big money maker. With fancy labeling and a good source they feel they can charge top dollar.
As for Evian: It's made from the french Alps.. They also paid alot of money for thier marketing campagne.. lol Check out the website

evian=naive. They juke up the price becaus people are willing to pay it, so Evian is getting the most bang for its buck, straight from american pockets.
Imported from France. High costing publicity campaigns, Gullible public. Try tap water - cheap and always on tap (Sorry - pun -LOL)

Mostly your just paying for the name. You can put the same water in a different bottle and people wouldn't buy it. But put different water in the same bottle and they wouldn't even know the difference.
