I want to make 12 cups of coffee in my automatic coffee maker. How much coffee should I put in?!

Question: I don't want it too strong. Somewhere right in the middle. Thanks for your help.

i usually measure it on the coffee thing, if you fill it all with water it should make 10 or more cups, it also depends on what coffee machine you have. Sometimes i wet the coffee filter a bit and then put the coffee in it. Sometimes if you use it for the second day it won't be so strong. You could also use a flavor additive to your coffee like vanilla, hazelnut etc and then add some milk to it.

I put one teaspoon....not tablespoon...for every cup of coffee..
so I would put 12 teaspoons of coffee in the coffeemaker.
After you try it, if too weak, add a teaspoon more.

Strong coffee turns me off also...

i believe it is one tablespoon per every cup of coffee you make... if you don't want it really strong.... for 12 cups i would probably do maybe 9-10 tablespoons.....

one tablespoon of coffee per six ounces of water

if your coffee pot has a measure on it - twelve cups would be seventy two oz. of water - twelve tablespoons of coffee

For each 6 oz cup use one std coffee measure . A std measure is 1/8 cup (8 oz cup) This is coffee . make to your taste after trying this recipe. You didn't say what kind of coffee maker you have Drip, Perc?
