Answers: is red tea the ame as black? because some people call red tea black but i thought black was english the and red was well red was just red.

Red tea and black tea are made out of different species of tea. Red tea comes from the Rubois (pronounced roo-bois) plant which grows naturally in South Africa. Black tea is made from a different tea plant found commonly in Europe/Asia. Also, different flavorings are added. More tropical fruits (such as berries and tangerines) are added to the Red tea, while honey and sugar and mint are more commonly added to Black tea. And yes, they are normally different colors though some only have slight nuances of difference.

No, they are different colors.

they are the same just different colors

never heard of red tea before

I would assume it were different, just as light green tea and white tea

red tea, white tea, green tea, black tea, herbal teas, and all the other types of teas are usually COMPLETELY different, red tea is kind of an african flavored tea almost, flavored with certain thing that give it a spicy-tangy-sweet-spicy flavor
black tea tastes like whatever you put in it unless its strong or flavored...
