What is hotter when brewed, Tea or Coffee????

the same because you put boiling water in both. It however comes down to how much milk you put in each

the same.

Coffee.

surely its the same, if u boil a kettle, it boils at the same temperature??? meaning when u use the water to make the tea or coffee, its the same temperature?

is that what u mean?

Depends how much milk you put in.

both about the same...depends on the water temp. eh one with the higher temp is hotter

Tea wouldn't be as hot when served as the teabag needs to infuse but surely they would both be the same to start with, Unless this is a trick question as you don't brew coffee.

Coffee with chillies in

Well, it depends on how much milk you put in each but i dont think one would be hotter than the other because you use milk and hot water in both.

Coffee as it is denser and tea loses its heat quicker

i would have said both

If it is made properly, tea. (You don't put milk in it when it is brewing!)

Tea requires boiling water to brew.

The taste of coffee is impaired if the water is boiling whether it is instant, filter, or cafetière; it tastes burnt.

Only in an espresso machine should boiling water be anywhere near coffee, and even then it is only for steam pressure to force the cooler water through the coffee in the filter.

I think both are really HOTT

tea i think, but im really not sure but i no its hot coz once burnt my mouth

Good question!

If prepared properly, it depends on the tea. Green, white, and some oolong teas should infuse at a lower temperature than black, herbal or rooibos teas (180 F as opposed to 212 F). This is why on some packages of green tea, it will actually tell you to let the water cool before infusing (I use a kettle with a specific setting for green tea).

Coffee is best prepared at 190-200F.

To answer your question: when prepared, black tea is hotter than coffee, but coffee is hotter than green tea.

I would say that they are they same, depending on the amount of milk you use

I guess coffee

Same if you use the same brewer. Different brewers have different temperature gages so they will vary.
