Starbucks iced Caramel Machiato!?!
anywho, my parents own that machine like starbucks' and they always buy the starbucks espresso beans and the bottle of vanilla syrup.. i know that those 2 are main ingredients for my drink.. but i need help on how to make it .. measurements.. and also.. does anyone have an idea about where i could get (or make my own) Caramel.. the drizzzle thingy not the syrup..

Answers: hi, i am so in love with starbucks! i drink their coffee almost everyday. but it costs me (equivalent to) 7 $ for a venti iced caramel machiato.. i cant really afford that anymore.. im only 18!

The main difference between caramel syrup and creamy caramel sauce is that caramel syrup is basically sugar, corn syrup and water, whereas creamy caramel has all the same ingredients plus cream added to the mixture as well. You could try mixing a little cream with ready made caramel syrup and whip it a bit to see if that helps it to remain on top of the froth.

In a pint glass or iced tea glass (we're assuming 16 oz), add vanilla syrup and fill about 3/5 of the way with cold milk. Add ice almost to the top and pour espresso (2 shots would be typical) over the top. If you've done it right, the espresso will mix in only about halfway down without stirring. If adding whipped cream, add it here. Drizzle the top with caramel and enjoy.
