Ha! Yes, Mountain Dew is legendary for its caffeine content. You're jittery because the caffeine and the sugar are both affecting you (even if you sweeten your coffee, it can't possibly have anywhere near as much sugar as Dew). Try drinking a bunch of water and peeing a lot. You need to get it out of your system if you want to sleep.

Mountain dew has more caffeine that coffee and it also has a lot of sugar in it. I remember being told that in a twelve pack of mountain dew there is a pound of sugar.

I know it has more caffeine than cola, but I am not sure about coffee. Probably pretty comparable to coffee.

change the way u sleep e.g. put the pillow in the place u put your feet

According to BBC, mountain dew has 54mg of caffeine.

If you cannot sleep, try drinking a glass of warm milk or camomile tea.

Sure does. And you drink like a cup of coffee but with soda its like 16 oz. So more caffeine. Try caffeine free tea or sprite.

Mountain Dew has more caffeine than most sodas. Our night shift uses it to keep alert.

Mountain Dew has a GAZILLION calories in it and a lot of sugar.
Prolly worst than coke!

hell yes it does. Drank a Code Red once now that is something to keep you moving for a about 1hour or 2.. but yeah if you drink mountain dew drink moderately LOL

It has one of the highest caffeine levels of all the soft drinks.

Moutain dew is more than Pepsi... i don't know about coffee?

Look on the label!
It is loaded with caffeine!

Now you know why people are always drinking it!
It is in the same category as RED BULL.

Starbucks can also be a culprit so avoid them after noon if you want to sleep.

Nitey night
