actually Hunii, they are both excellent choices for your hair!
add some wheat germ (in a can at the grocery that you add to yogurt or applesauce) and vitamin e, or jello! great for the nails too!

The 3-6-9 Omega oils has all three omegas that important for healthy hair and skin. I take Omega 3,6,9 oils also. I also got my mom to take it when she was experiencing loss of her hair.

The omega oil is what you use for dog's and cats hair to make it shiny and not shed as much .

Hi Morrocan

I'm experimenting with this too and have noticed my hair is so much shinier and beautiful and my skin is incredibly soft.

Here's what I learned... According to Dr Udo Erasmus (who is the absolute authority on this topic) we need to have Omega 3 & 6 in a very specific ratio, namely 2:1.

Flax seed oil is Omega 3 only. "Remember that flax can make you Omega-6 deficient, and then every tissue in the body falls apart. So flax should be enriched with Omega-6-rich sunflower and sesame oils to get the Omega-6s up."

Personally, I take Dr Udo Erasmus Omega 3-6-9 blend. I used to take it a few years ago and then stopped and have just started consuming it again over the last month and definitely noticed the difference.
