Is the picture of the gorilla at the beginning of the cadburys chocolate advert that of a real gorilla?!

Question: unfortunately I dont know a gorila that plays the drums like that. I wish i did! However the gorilla at the very beginning is real i think. I think this because it doesnt zoom out, it just switches cameras to show a man in a gorilla suit which they would have made look very real. The modern days of cinematography!!! I am not 100% certain of this though!
I hope this answers your question.

no unfortunately not, just some guy dressed up in a gorilla suit. just have a look at some of the monkeys in the film congo. its all done with anamatronics for the facial features and theres extensions to the arms to make it more realistic

Nope

and how many gorillas do you know that can play the drums

No that's a guy in a suit, I'm fairly sure it's the same guy who played King Kong (seriously) in the recent remake with Jack Black. JB is not the Gorilla though, lol.

just believe its real and enjoy the advert.

according to my children, yes!!!1

Oh I love that advert - its great :-) A gorilla playing the drums!

I have no idea but love the advert. Best one around just now

No its someone in a gorilla suit

I reckon it's Phil Collins lol I can just imagine him under that suit
