Is there a name for this type of drink, I is it my own invention?!

Question: I heard that drinking hot water is healthier than drinking cold water. I boiled cold water (because if you boil hot water, pieces of microscopic metal might be in it) and I added syrup to it and it tastes just like 'tea'.

Ingredients:
Hot Water
Syrup

Is there a name for it?

It depends. If you mean "honey," it's called "honey water." I usually drink honey and hot water when I have a sore throat.

Dude, you did not invent the wheel here.

Hot water, add sugar = simple syrup.

What kind of syrup did you add?
Corn syrup?
Maple syrup?
Cough syrup? lol

..sweet H2O
