Is Coca-Cola bad for your heart?!

Question: If so, how?

Answers: If so, how?

Both sugar and caffeine are very bad for your heart. The sugar hardens your arteries and the caffeine shocks your nervous system, putting more strain on your heart. Coca-Cola is rich in both. The high fructose corn syrup is EVIL.

At the same time, the diet colas aren't good for you, either. The artificial sweeteners are unhealthy - there's still debate on what it does to your endocrine system, but I believe it puts your blood sugar out of whack. Also, the phospates (that make it carbonated) severely restrict your body's ability to absorb iron and calcium - very bad!

Drink water!

I don't know about that. But I think too much use of it like if you are addicted and you drink alot alot every day then it can lead to stomach problems like ulcers. Again that is what I have heard. But seems it does sort of mess with stomach because it is kind of strong. But normal amoutn shouldn't be harmful.IMHO.

sodium in coke r

Yes-the caffeine is what is bad-overstimulates your heart and endocrine system. Also addicting. Carbonation is also not supposed to be good for you.

Do not drink Coke or any of the other fake sodas. If you have to drink a soda buy a real one like Boylan, and some others out there.

Also, sodas do not quench your thirst they dehydrate you. Water is much better for you.

If you are a caffeine junkie drink coffee either black or with skim milk, no sugar!
