I have been drinking the same coffees for years and they are very enjoyable to me?!

Question: I drink several different kinds from maxwell house to flavored coffees, etc,,, love hazelnut...anyway...my question is this..lately my coffee is starting to give me extreme heartburn and (yes it is the coffee) I was wondering if that coffee that is on the market claiming to be Low Acid tastes good? Have any of you tried it and does it still taste like coffee? I just loved my coffee and do not want to give it up altogether.
Thanks for your answers

Maxwell House now has a 100% Arabica bean coffee. The Arabica bean is less acidic than most coffee beans and it is very full flavored. I haven't tried the Maxwell House, I have only seen it on TV.

Guatemala grows Arabic coffee and it is very good, or you could try a premium coffee like Kona or Jamaica Blue Mountain.

I live in Kona so I will admit to being a bit prejudice as to which one is best :)

Do you eat before drinking coffee? You should.

That eliminates heartburn for me.

try a tums before u have coffee

Eat something starchy with the coffee. Drink water, lots of water all day. If the coffee keeps bothering you, stop drinking it for a couple of weeks and see if you feel better. It could be you just need to break the cycle. I wouldn't start with the tums and rolaids, you'll just tilt the balance from off kilter into warble. You'll increase acid production in the long run then be stuck with tums or a stomach ache as a a normal daily condition. Just give it a rest and detoxify a little bit. Nature seeks balance.

Try a more mellow coffee like Guatemalan.
