Does butterbeer taste good?!

Question: I've read the recipe on Mugglenet but with th cream soda, it sounds weird. Butter and cream soda!? WHAT!? I always imagined it really creamy like a thick malt hot chocolate or something. But i guess (in the books) They do have them in bottles so thats more of a Soda. If you've tried both recipes (cream soda and without cream soda) tell me which is best.

Personally, I think any beverage with butter in it sounds nasty. But, hey, I'm not a wizard :-)
