What's the best way to make a cup of tea?!

Question: I'll share with you tea-brewing secrets I learned from an old room-mate from Liverpool:

The water must be brought to a FULL BOIL, and is poured over the teabag. Dropping the bag into the water is wrong. Let teabag steep for 3 minutes. Remove bag. DO NOT REUSE. Do not squeeze the excess water out of the teabag - it makes the tea bitter.

I don't know that it made much of a difference, but then again, I'm a coffee drinker...

boil water, add tea, let it boil for a second and turn it off and let it steep for 5 minutes then drain it and add milk and sugar!

walla! now that's a nice delicious cup of tea!

The best way I can make a sup of tea is a couple of ways.

1. Choose a regular type of tea, no special flavoring *unless you want*. Then add some milk or cream and sugar *your own prefered amount*

2. Take a mug and fill it with water, pop it in the microwave for 1 minute, 45 seconds and let a tea bag sit in it. Then add sugar.

3. Make a regular bland type of tea. Then add your own flavoring like lemon juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, and one of my favorite pomegranet juice.

Good Luck making a great cup of Tea.

How To Make the Perfect Cup of Tea

Making great Tea is quick, simple and a wonderful way to start your day or take a beak anytime throughout the day. Tea is also a great beverage and costs the least, next after regular water. Please follow these simple steps:

Cold Water

Always start with fresh, cold water. Never use water left in the tea kettle that has been boiled before or hot water from the tap.

Tea Pot

Heat your pot by pouring hot (tap) water into your pot and allow to sit while the water for the tea heats to boiling.

Boiling

Never over boil your water. When it reaches a rolling boil, the water is ready! It does not improve by continued boiling because essential oxygen is released. Regardless of what beverage you are preparing, loss of too much oxygen may cause a flat taste.

Add Water to Tea

Always add water to the tea. Allow to brew 3 to 5 minutes. Gently stir. Serve.

Note: Depending on individual taste, one tea ball will make 1 to 3 cups of tea. For loose tea we recommend a generous half teaspoon to a level teaspoon per cup.

hope this helps. enjoy.
