Yes you should stop drinking soda. Below is a list of reasons why:

1. Soda can erode tooth enamel, cause cavities, etc..

I have a much healthier set of teeth now,cause I learned the hard way)

4. Soda causes flatulence.

5. Soda is loaded with too much high fructose corn syrup sweetener which can make you fat and adversely affect your concentration. High fructose corn syrup is not a natural sweetener by the way and should not be in our food supply. It is a toxic sweetener.

6. Too much consumption of soda can contribute to the onset of diabetes later on in life. Each 15oz serving contains 9 to 10 tsp of sweetener. This is an overdose serving of sweetener.

You are 12, so it's not a big deal. However, soda is terrible for you and it would be best if you quit now instead of later. Drink water instead.

I quit drinking sodas about 2 months ago. It was really hard at first and I was getting horrible migraines. But 2 months now and no soda. It makes you fat and is horrible for you. I drink water and green tea instead.

Soda has a lot of sugar and diet soda. Has aspartame is artificial sweetener. It slows down weight loss. You should start drinking water, at least 8 glasses a day. You'll feel better your skin will look great and you'll cleanse system.

Yeah. Too much sugar can cause weight gain and a lot of other problems too..including agne and of course, tooth problems. All of the acid is probably killing your mouth. Your body is tryin to tell you to chill. Drink some good ole water. Your kidneys deserve some happiness too.

when you say your mouth hurts, do you mean your teeth? Just what hurts. As far as the soda, if you can stay way from it that would be good. Some people can drink em with no problems and others can't even look at a can without putting on the weight. If you are worried about your weight eat right. Lots of fruits and veggies. Watch the sugar intake.

Yes, if you want to loose or stop gaining weight. A person i work with lost 20 lbs in a month by switching to diet pop/soda.

yea soda is lethal. your mouth probably hurts from ur teeth rottening from that sugar filled soda. even diet soda is bad for you...drink water, smoothies, tea, coffee, anything besides soda plz!
