Why arent you supose to drink warm water ?!

Question: that is what people have been tellin me

Answers: that is what people have been tellin me

Cold water shocks your system. Your internal temp is about 98 degrees F. When ill or working out, cold or iced drinks of any kind can cause vomiting or diarrhea. Is this the information you were looking for? (Sorry! I thought you asked why are you supposed to drink warm water. I have never heard anyone say you shouldn't drink warm water. I used to work at a YMCA and all the fitness trainers encouraged drinking room temp water, not cold.)

people do though in tea and coffee. What you mean is from the hoit water supply. That is because the hot water tank is not as clean as debris can fall in it unlike as with the main supply.

i dont know. no reason not to.

Do you drink coffee? Tea? Hot Cocoa? Warm water is good for you

I've never heard that.

no harm in drinking warm water. It's whether it's clean or not that counts.

You should drink room temp. water b/c your muscles absorb it better than hot or cold water.

Warm water loosens and holds more sediments and chemicals from the pipes. Never cook with warm water either -- it ruins the taste of the food. Use cold water and then heat it.

It's not bad for your body,

It just makes you pee more often

don't drink warm TAP water, but water you boiled and let cool is fine. Bad stuff can grow in the hot water heater.

um they're probably wrong, there's no problem with drinking warm water

Ask the people who have been tellin [sic] you.

I know that if you drink warm milk it is supposed to make you fall asleep, perhaps water has the same affect? Other than that I truly have no idea other than it has an odd taste.

where did u hear that? warm water is verry good for u man. even if u get water out of a dirty stream or lake if u boil it for 10 minutes u can drink it and it is clean.

Actually, its ice water that is not good for you.

warm water is fine. actually it's said that room temperature water is the easiest on your stomach. but by warm if you mean hot like tea, there is no problem with that either.
