How do you pronounce "Cafe Au Lait?"?!

Question: I just don't want to sound like an idiot when I'm ordering!

Answers: I just don't want to sound like an idiot when I'm ordering!

Kaff-ay Oh-lay

caffay oh lay

I'll try to make it as good as I can considering that the English don't use french sounds at all. So I'll write it out as if an English person is trying to speak French LOL:
Ka-fay-o-lay

calf hay oh lay

calf fay oo lay

Idiot you are! If we teach you here how could you know it?

you pronounce "cafe" just like you would normally (CAFF-eh) and "au lait" you would pronounce "owh (but less emphasized) leh (owh leh)

Calf-fay o lay

calf-fay-oh-lay

Calf-fay-Ow-Lay

Step by step :)
Very, very silly but hope it will works, well...
When you say a word Carpet, try to stop after second sound, add the first TWO sounds when you say Feminine...You'll get the pronounce for CA+FE.=CAFE
The second word Au, easy just say "O"
The third, sounds silly again, pronounce the word LEG, but swallow the G letter...
This is the silliest explanation i've ever gave in my life...
But hope you'll understand and spell french well :)))

cafe aw lay

cah-fay oh lay
with the emphasis on the "fay"
"je voudrais un cafe au lait, sil vous plait"
je (not pronounced like 'jug') vue-dray uhn cah-fay oh lay see voos play.
Hope I helped :)
