Because energy drinks have sugar in them. Most energy drinks make u hyped up for temporarily, and then after half an hour u feel so weak and lazy and sluggish u feel so vulnerable . That's why energy drinks are bad for you.

They are full of caffeine and sugar

They are FILLED with caffeine, sugar, and other stuff that really shouldn't be in your body.

I still drink them though, drinking one a day isn't bad.

It could actually kill your to consume more than 3 a day.

Caffeine dehydrates you. Most energy drinks are loaded with sugar. They aren't that much different than a few cups of coffee though. If you drink a pot of coffee a day, you have problems. If you drink a couple cups though, you're fine. Same with energy drinks.

Caffeine and sugar, you crash after one.

The caffeine acts as a fast-asborbing stimulant, and, if used during exercise, it can decrease the efficiency of your body in oxygenating your blood. This is only in large amounts though.

The vast amounts of sugar are simple carbs, which get into your bloodstream quickly, but don't last long enough. Your blood sugar spikes up, then goes down lower than it was originally, leaving you a hypoglycemic mess.
