Can you do anything when the warming plate of a coffee maker starts deteriorating ?!

Question: I have that happen every few years. It wouldnt pay to try to have it fixed. I would just get a new cofee maker. Funny how they havent figured out how to make those warming plates last longer though.

You could buy a new one for about $10.00

...or get a free Senseo... http://www.sharesenseo.com/index.jsp?q=e...

The $15.00 shipping is really nothing compared to what these go for. The pods are overpriced, but the thing makes a good cup of coffee very quickly.

get a new one. I think it only costs around 5 quid.

Coffee makers are about $18 bucks at Wal Mart...

I just gave ya' a "big" clue, there...(sic)

No, and if you could it would probably be more expensive than buying a new coffeemaker.

yes, you can gather up 27.94 go to wal mart and get a new one. then go online and see if there is anything neat you can make out of the part from your old one.

Get a new coffee maker
go to Gevalia
you get a free Coffee maker

Is it just superficial or deep deterioration? I am sure you could replace it. It is just a low wattage heating element, but the cost to you would be prohibitive. Unfortunately, repairing appliances like that are usually not cost effective. That's the American way! Good luck.

Probably just time to replace it, but around here i see them at second hand thrift stores or even flea markets and yard sales for hardly nothing....just be sure to make sure its clean and in good working condition....if you don't want to try that Wal-mart is probably your best buy......good luck!

Get a new one....it sounds dangerous
