Bottled water vs. Tap water!?!

Hey, ye who is so quick to judge. Does it occur to you that many people do not like tap water because of the pipes it is being run through? I will drink tap water in my new home in our new subdivision, but I will not drink tap water at my work which is in an old building in an old part of town where the water is disgusting. Bottled water is tap water that has been filtered correctly. Please...prove me wrong.

The difference between tap water and bottled water that comes from tap water is treated so that it usually has a better taste. As well, in some instances, standards for bottled water are different than for tap water. Because lead can leach from pipes as water travels from water utilities to home faucets, the EPA set an action level of 15 parts per billion (ppb) in tap water. In bottled water, where lead pipes are not used, the lead limit is set at 5 ppb.
The biggest problem with bottled water (and a lot of other beverages) is that it is sold in certain types of plastic bottles.
According to several recent studies, polycarbonate plastic readily leaches a chemical called bisphenol-A (BPA) into foods and liquids that are stored in containers made from it.

I forget what brand of water it was, im almost positive it was Aquafina, anyways. on T.V i was watching they were saying Aquafina actually did not come from mountain springs and that it was tap water (modified probably, added minerals for taste??) so NOW they have to take off the came from "natural mountain springs". Bottled water to me is INGENIUS, they are selling us WATER! if u think about it, its DUMB, considered the fact you can drink normal tap water which you pay for anyway in your water bills. The companies make SO MUCH money off of bottled water, mainly because Americans arent very smart. But its all about convinience, carrying water around in a bottle. Im gonna start refilling the bottles, because it just makes more sense and saves crap tons of money.
