Single-cup Coffee Maker?!

Question: Does anyone have a Senseo coffee maker? Do you like it? How big is a "cup"? Thanks!

The best way to make a single cup of coffee, that doesn't break the bank is a French Press, actually the best way to make coffee.

The can be found for small amounts for under $20 US.

You use a coarser grind than you would use for drip coffee, ( like peculator grind) but if drip is all you can find it will work fine.

You put the coffee in the press, you will need to experiment with the amount so you get it to your taste. Then you bring water to almost a boil. Put the water in the press and allow it to steep for about four to five minutes depending on how strong you want it. Then push the plunger down and pour in a cup. The press has a strainer but you may want to use an addition strainer. It will be some of the best coffee you have ever had.

Yeah, it's not too bad. A single pod cup is 4 ounces and a 2 pod cup is 8. At least I think that's right. If you drink a lot of coffee, it can get expensive, but if you drink a lot, a normal pot would work. I would like to have more flavors, but the ones they offer now are fine. I find one vanilla pod and one decaf pod makes a nice cup with only half the caffeine.

I want one but I cant afford it
